A Home away from Home: Oppan gangnamseutail

It has been one veeery nice week again!! :) And chiles independence day is 18.9. so we had all this special activity and the whole next weeks is gonna be free 8) Sadly I don't have any pics from this week 'cause i just forgot my camera home everyday xd but yeah on tuesday after lunch we didn't have lessons but the whole school gathered up to our gym and we watched chile vs. columbia football game. People were really into it and everybody was cheering for chile.
On wednesday I didn't go to school in the morning 'cause we went to get me my chilean ID card :3 now i'm officially chilean girl!! Then when i went to school after lunch we had rehearsals for the next days activity day. People with their dance performances were practicing and the stage/platform (what ever it was) was built. Wednesday evening I spent with nacha. Some friends came by and we just chilled and stuff.
On thursday we had this big activity day. Lot of different dances and speeches and people. They also took me and marine to the stage and they introduced us, gave us chiles flags and welcomed us very warmly :D Then all classes had their own lunches in their classrooms. Everyone had paid something and then the teacher and every class's "president" took care of the food. (Yeah here every class has this president who every now and then takes care of these things and she or he is the one who tells everybody about stuff and organizes class activitys.) We ate some enpanadas and pajaritos. Enpanadas has meat, onion, egg and olives in it and it's this kinda "bread pocket" :D Pajaritos are like buns with meringue on top of it. And then i ate some grilled meat and vegetables with my other friends 'cause they had some extra ;) After eating we had alliance competition. There is four alliances; green, white, red and blue. There is about six classes in every alliance and from all levels. Every alliance had decorated their own class rooms with their color and stuff. Every alliance has king and queen and they're from the senior class. My alliance is green and my one friend is the queen of our alliance, this piña xd (piña eres muy tonta, te quiero <3) So we had the competition and it had all these different kinds of games. First was sack race and our alliance won it!!! Well we won the the first round; there was first girls, then boys, then with pairs and then with three people and so on... There was also tug of war and our alliance did pretty well. Then there was all these weird games and eating stuff and things i didn't get but the most important thing was that after all our alliance is right now in the lead. This whole competition between alliances is gonna go on for like few weeks and there's gonna be a grand final :D There was also a lot of cueca during that day, after all it's the national dance of chile! After the day we came home with my sisters and our friends and we chilled the rest day in our home. Although we went to the gym with connie and we had some fun time with this funny guy who goes to same gym classes with us and is reeeeaaly clumsy xd
Today we had normal school day, but in my classes we only watched videos and took a little bit easier :) OH I'VE TOTALLY FORGOT!!! I've started football :D Today i had my first practice and it was really fun (((: My team has pretty young girls in it but they're all really nice and age is just a number. And ofcourse there is also girls my age, it's just that they don't have so many people in this town and there is not very much acticitys to do in here, so you have to go with what you can get xd but yeah tomorrow i have football (okay some people are gonna come correct me if i don't say more precisely that it's soccer) trainings at 11:30 which i'm really looking forward to :) i also went to my host mums restaurant with nacha and marine and we had some reaalllly good food in there and we almost rolled back home 'cause we were so full xd And oh i lied to you in the beginning i do have some photos.. photos from today :D
