A Home away from Home: elokuuta 2012

Today we had photoshoots with nacha! We started a bit too late so it was pretty dark. We still got some good ones and atleast we had fun! Almendra joined also our shoots and she was pretty good model, i have to say.

I have to also mention that it's getting warmer. Spring is coming after this super long, terribly cold and horribly dark month. Finally! :D okay.. but it's really nice now when after school it's warm and sun shines. In the mornings it's still cold and it's weird that the temperature changes so much.

Today I used colectivo alone for the first time! Colectivos are like a taxis, but they go around here and just pick you up from there where ever you are. If there isn't one, you have to walk somewhere else. And colectivos takes many people at the same time going different places and colectivos are super cheap. It's about 60cents for one trip... and if you're wearing school uniform it's only 45cents. It's very handy when you're going somewhere you wouldn't know how to walk or if you're just too lazy to walk :D It was a little bit scary to use it alone and i wasn't hundred prosent sure what to say, but it went well! Today I was at my friends cates house to do history project with camila and vale. We are suppose to do this some kind of time line. Right now I don't exactly know what is the topic but i'll get there later... xd

Here are several things that are different than what i'm use to. For example here if there is "salad" with food all the things we would in finland mix together and serve together are on different plates seperated. And they all are with lemon and oil... which i kinda don't like, at all. And when we go to supermarket in stead of having own bags or big plastic bags all shoppings are put to small plastic bags. There is always a packer who does that for you and you have to or you should give some money for the packer. Also here they put avocado to everywhere!? You eat bread with it and if you order a hamburger there usually is avocado in it. Luckly I think avocado tastes ok or even with doritos or bread it's pretty good :D It feels like so much is happening here but in the other way nothing is happening. I mean nothing so special happens but there is so much to tell to everybody when i talk with them in facebook. It's just too awesome to be here :D
