Yesterday I went out with my bestie Nico! We weren't able to meet before the christmas so we gave our christmas presents. I got super good chocolate and a letter with picture of "two of us" made with photoshop skills level 100 xd It was the sweetest letter ever and it made me so happy :3 It's always so nice to be with him 'cause he's so happy and silly. He's always fooling around and makes me laugh :D He really is my best friend in here! c: Nico you are the best <3

Feliz Navidad

So we had christmas. It was fun and it was really different :D They night before christmas eve I really missed my family and the christmas that we have in finland. But it went off with sleeping and in the christmas eve morning I was happy again and I was glad to spend my christmas here in chile with my wonderful host family. AND of course with the family of the other exchange student :D The morning was like all the mornings in here; we woke up, did our beds and ate lunch. Yeah we usually eat lunch when we wake up 'cause we sleep until like 12 or 1 xd yeah after that we started preparing foods for the night, we went to the supermarket to buy more food, I made cheesecake with marine and marine made toblerone mousse :p then we watched movies and ate chocolate from our christmas tree with my sisters, the chocolates that we had been eating the whole december although they were meant to bee left for christmas xd well in the evening we went to the center with connie to buy last christmas presents and wrapping paper. I bought a cute little pink tutu skirt for my boyfriends niece :3 because she is so cute and she adores me <3 and that skirt was the cutest thing I've ever seen c: we also bought a cute little collar for our dogie almendra :3 after all shopping we went see our friends new puppy called DEXTER xd it's a fox terrier and it's super cute and connie came up with the name!!! xdxd then we came to the house and quickly wrapped all the gifts and put them to the pile under the christmas tree :D We made more food and watched tv... then finally at 9 o'clock marines family came to our house. Eliise from estonia also had come. She was here as an exchange student few years ago and now came back to spen her christmas in here with her host family :) Well... first we ate a big supper. It had turkey, pig, king crabs hands, salads, potatoes.... and something you can only get in chile. They are chilean seafood and they are a bit similar to clams but they have only one side of the shell. Well I tried everything and nothing was bad. I didn't love everything but it was still good and eatable :p then we had to wait for a while for the presents. Presents are opened at midnight just when it's has changed to 25th day :D we divided all the presents and watched when everyone opened theirs when they got it. It took a little time 'cause there were so many of us but it was fun :D then we ate dessert and talked about our new presents... and went to sleep xd and the next day marines family came to eat lunch to our house and that was all the activities for that day xd IT WAS DIFFERENT BUT WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! :3 <3

♫ Santa Claus is coming to town ♫ ... or I don't know!? :o

OMG I just realized it's 3 days to Christmas!? :o I haven't bought any christmas presents at all... this is the difference between chile and finland and now chile has changed me too. Usually I have all the presents ready in november or at latest in the beginning of december. I plan gifts for a long time and really precisely think if that gift is good for that person and if he or she is gonna like it and if it need something more and toooo much time for the gifts! Now I haven't stressed about them at all, and I'm just thinking about getting them xd I have some problems to think what to get my sisters and mum and boyfriend and everybody... But luckily I still have some time and still at 24th, the christmas morning, we are gonna go buy the last presents because CHILE xd It has also toked me a long time to realize that the christmas is actually coming. I'm used to christmas with snow, coldness, hot chocolate and warm clothes. This warm weather at christmas is so weird for me. Not until my mun asked me to decorate the christmas tree with my sister I really got that it's the same christmas that we have in finland but just in the other side of the world. It's the same date and the same idea of being with your family and friends. The idea of giving things to each other and making each others happy. I know this christmas is gonna be really different and I am gonna miss the christmas I always have in finland; my family, friends, traditions, food and even cold weather. But also I know that I'm gonna enjoy this christmas too and I'm gonna have sooo much fun :) and my finnish family is in USA spending their christmas so they won't either miss me too much xd ok I know they miss me a lot but maybe they have so much fun that they'll forget me for a second ;) Here some fotos from this week :D One morning we went have coffee just us girls and we ate ñaammñaamm pancakes with ice cream :p and one day we made cupcakes with connie, oh yeah they where awesome xd Yesterday was my mums birthday so we made pie, cake and jam with my mummyyy :3

I know I look good with blackberries in my face, but that's how you do pie xd

“The most important things in life aren't things.”

So first, here's the pics from the festival of pig :D We drove there about an hour and the place was almost middle of nowhere in the countryside. But when we got to the place it had lots of cars and really big field full of people. It was a huge tent full of tables and chairs and then there were these stalls that sold food like meat, drinks, desserts etc. We took a table and then we went around picking what we wanted to eat and drink. Everybody got what they wanted and it was mainly pig, pig, pig, PIG xd There was also this band playing chilean music and people performing dances. It was really cute when these two little kids went to dance there  and they actually danced really well!! :3 Well we ate A LOT of pig and drank terremoto which is a chilean drink and it tastes really good and the name means earthquake :D After eating we went around looking these other stalls that sold jam, clothes, flowers, bracelets etc. And there was also these games where you had to shoot ducks or try to get bottles up with a string. We tried some of them and the shooting was really fun xd There was also metal bull that you could ride but it looked too hard so we didn't want to try it :D My sister bought me a bracelet that says hanna and it's really cute and my mun bought me these pants that are like super loose and comfortable and they are black and white and i think they are called harem pants xd

These pics are from saturday when we went to marine's house after the meeting and took some pics with the puppies. They are super big now and actually the girl puppy left yesterday to it's new home :3

On wednesday we had to perform dances in music class. The other group in our music class performed their's. They danced salsa, meringue and samba. We couldn't perform ours because one girl was missing. We performed ours on friday :D there's also pics from our maths class when we did nothing and took lot of pics xd  I love my class <3
